Third-Party Providers
ALFRED™ works with select third-party providers and public reference sources to support verification, authentication, and readiness review. This page lists those providers and sources and explains their role within ALFRED.
Important — No Integration Required
ALFRED does not connect to a lender’s, CDFI’s, or capital partner’s internal systems, CRM, or loan origination software. No system integration is required for an institution to use ALFRED or receive a completed verified file.
Completed verified files are released only after the user authorizes submission. Files may be delivered through ALFRED’s approved delivery workflow, secure file delivery, partner access, or another approved transmission method agreed upon for the institutional relationship.

Optional vs. Required Connections
Plaid is optional. A user may complete verification through document upload where supported by ALFRED’s verification process.
Auth0 supports account access and is required to use ALFRED.
SBA.gov, IRS.gov, and Secretary of State databases are public reference sources ALFRED may check against. These are not services a user connects to directly through ALFRED.
Each Provider’s Own Responsibility
Each third-party provider maintains its own privacy, security, and compliance practices independent of ALFRED.
ALFRED encourages users to review each provider’s policies directly.
How This List Changes
Additional authorized providers or public reference sources may be added as ALFRED evolves.
This page will be updated to reflect material changes to ALFRED’s third-party provider relationships or public reference sources.
